About me...
I've been involved in music one way or another from a very young age, but it was when I picked the banjo aged 10 when my love of music really took off, and I've kept on moving forward ever since.
Almost everything else I've picked up as I've gone along over the years, whether it was lifting another instrument to 'have a go on' at a session, at home or in school, or learning my trade as a sound engineer mainly on the job and as opportunities came to me. I can't take all the credit though, I'm very lucky to have had a wealth of advice, guidance and invaluable help along the way from many teachers, inspiring people, friends and family (too many to name individually...) I take pride in my work, and in doing the best job possible. I'm always working towards this, learning new things to help broaden my understanding and knowledge of the industry, and when I get a spare minute here and there, I still have many more songs and tunes to learn and I'll tick another one off the list... |
